The country has a European hotel classification. There are many hotels with different levels of service, from 1 star to 5 star. Along with classified and unclassified hotels there are multiple spots for the rest. Hotel services differs from European in the direction of greater simplicity. The “star” classification is performed rather arbitrarily: the “five-star” hotel can simply have an absence of hair dryers and shampoo in the room, then in the next cheap hotel both of the items will all be available. There is no definition in the European staff.
Hotels are mostly in Arabic style, almost all are the representative of the Tourist Police. Most of the hotels are located somewhere at the coast. 2-3 * hotels are located at a distance of 500-600 meters from the sea, 4-5 * – on the beach. From the sea, often the wind blows, so the hotels in general are far away from the coast than in other countries. They are surrounded by greenery, which protects them from the wind. Catering is mostly half-board, but there is a good all inclusive.
For young people 13-30 years there are “junior hotels” (Youth Hostels). The hotels 4 * and above mostly have heated pools.
