Paris is the capital of fashion and style. Where else to stay in this city, if not in a designer hotel, far from the dull monotony of a standard network of hotels. Each room in a boutique hotel is unique and inimitable, a real masterpiece of “haute couture”.
The Five Hotel
3, rue Flatters, 75005 Paris
In the heart of Paris, in the Latin Quarter there is a hotel able to address all the five senses. To surprise the sight: at the hotel there are 24 unique rooms, each decorated in one of the 9 colour themes. You can choose the peacefulness of the black rooms, the energy of the orange, the quiet of the green, the richness of the plum, the cosiness of beige … The unusual appearance of the rooms is achieved by the tables of glowing glass, starry ceilings, sculptures from light- lighting has become magic and the play of light has become a part of the decor. Guests derive aesthetic pleasure from the combination of fabrics and furniture: uniform and asymmetric stripes, floral and marine motifs, walls, upholstered in leather, the floor in flowers – the designers are not afraid of daring and unexpected solutions. New facets of tactile abilities awake through the original noble fabrics, velvet, ceramics. The ear of the guests will be relaxed and focused on the calm of the atmosphere, created through the double glass. The designers did not forget about the sense of smell – depending on your wish your room will be delicately perfumed with one of the five fragrances: sweet, invigorating, relaxing, natural and sensual. And, of course, the taste will also be involved – those who have decided to refresh themselves in the morning, will feel the very taste of the French breakfast: fresh, crispy pastry along with tea-coffee accompaniment.

One by the Five
3, rue Flatters, 75005 Paris
The theme of the five senses continues in this unusual hotel, consisting of a single luxurious three-room apartment with a separate entrance from the street. To go through its rooms – means a trip through several diverse areas, each of which creates a special mood. By opening the door with their own key, guests find themselves in a spacious hall, telling about seduction: exaggerated somewhat skittish images of statues from the inner courtyard of the Louvre, lips, hands … Next is the bathroom, decorated with Moroccan tiles of indigo colour, a kitchen with an unusual black bar, a sensual and expressive, playing all shades of red, dance floor and, finally, the bedroom – a “seventh sky”: in it not a single object – transparent boxes and padded stools, touches the floor and in the centre of the room there is a huge bed, floating in the air above the clouds.

Hidden Hotel
28, rue Arc de Triomphe, 75017 Paris
After a walk through the noisy Elysee Fields, visiting the Eiffel Tower, one wants to find himself in a quiet, peaceful corner. Nearby there is a suitable hotel – a small secret refuge from the urban bustle. The interiors of the hotel will make you forget about the confusion of the crowded centre of the French capital. Naturalness, closeness to nature, and respect for manual work – it is these ideas that the designers who created the hotel want to express. In the interior decoration only noble natural materials in unusual combinations are used: fabric combined with wood, marble, stone, ceramics; most of the interior objects are hand-made products. This diversity creates a special harmony of eclecticism, which does not bring about irritation with its bold novelties, but calms and comforts.

Petit Moulin
29/31, rue du Poitou, 75003 Paris
A hotel is not an impersonal and faceless place – decided to prove the creators of the hotel and tried to move away from the usual stereotypes. The hotel is located in the centre of the Marais quarter of Paris, famous for its peculiar individuality, in a building of XVII century. Previously, a bakery was located there, where, according to the legend, Victor Hugo used to buy bread. And for this reason the authors of the project tried to retain the atmosphere of an old capital house with a bit confusing layout and labyrinthine corridors and to create a particular manner of existence among the old stones. The combination of brocade, velvet and fur, bright modern furniture on the background of old engravings and frivolous drawings on the walls – all the decor is carried out in the designs by Christian Lacroix.

Le Bellechasse
8, rue de Bellechasse, 75007 Paris
Another hotel, in the design of which Christian Lacroix took part, creating for its 34 rooms seven diverse options for the interior: a modern Saint- Germain, simple folk-Toiletries, the Anglo-Saxon Avengers, raw-farm Mousquetaires, futuristic Jeu De Paume, exotic Quai d ‘Orsay and a chaotic Persian-Arabic Patchwork. In each room there is a combination of the neo-classical and bohemian conveying the spirit of the Paris district Faubourg Saint Germain, the aristocratic elegance of which inspired many artists and writers, and inspired the famous couturier to play with tradition and, like an ancient alchemist, to create a wonderful elixir – a unique fusion of bright juicy colours and memorable images.

Le Sezz
6, avenue Fremiet, 75016 Paris
How should a luxury hotel of XXI century be? Contemporary luxury is in the space and services – think the owners of this hotel. The 27 rooms are spacious and not encumbered with furniture: they create a kind of oriental laconicism of interior, freedom from things. The few carefully selected items are exclusive, original, and created by the best masters. In Le Sezz all hotel rules are violated. Who said that the bed in the room should be at the wall? Most beds are in the middle of the room, you can move freely, around them and guests really appreciate it. Waiting at the registration desk at the hotel sometimes reminds standing in a queue at the post office? For this reason, at Le Sezz there is no reception desk at all. Guests are greeted, and seated in chairs in the cosy lobby, offered tea, asked what they would like to see in Paris, because they came not to a hotel – they came on a visit! The good assistant will not leave his friends during the whole stay: you only need to call him from anywhere in the city and he will go with you shopping, will help to buy tickets to the theatre or will show places that are not found in conventional guidebooks.

Ares
7, rue du Général de Larminat, 75015 Paris
Refined Italian comfort of an elegant home of a wealthy family – well, this is perhaps how one can describe the style of the hotel. The interior decoration does not shock guests, but makes him admire the good taste of the owners. Modern features are combined with the Baroque interior decor, emphasizing and complementing each other. Comfortable rooms are furnished with articles by the best Italian designers. The zest of the hotel – two spacious rooms upstairs, are decorated in black and white graphic style. Transverse, longitudinal, cross-band stripes create interesting optical effects and alter the space.
