For the first time in its history, the Caribbean island of Montserrat takes on its shores diving festival. If you go to this corner of paradise, from 27 June to 4 July, travelers can enjoy this event. By the way, it will be not only under the water, which might be expected, considering the specificity of events, but also on the sea surface, as well as on land. Experienced and novice divers will have the opportunity to enjoy one’s heart’s favorite cause. Special theme days are scheduled for them in the scopes of the festival. Those who prefer to enjoy the sea, being above the water, not under it, too, will not be bored. So travelers are offered a variety of excursions on yachts, inspection of the Soufriere Hills volcano and visit the famous Montserrat Observatory, designed to monitor not only the stars, but for the turbulent “fire mountains”. A special day will be 28 June because the festival organizers decided to devote it to the children. The smallest guests of the island will get a chance to get acquainted with the marine ecosystem in detail. They will learn about the life of coral reefs and their inhabitants, on the various types of fish and fishing traditions, and much more.
