Isla Cozumel

The Guadalajara Cathedral
A Mexican historic landmark, housed in Guadalajara – one of the largest and most influential cities in the whole of Mexico, the striking Guadalajara Cathedral or the Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady attracts visitors with its interesting mix of different architectural styles, including gothic, baroque, morisco and meoclassic. Originally built between the years 1571 and 1616, by the famous architect Martin Casillas, the cathedral later underwent several reconstructions because it was affected by numerous earthquakes. Of great beauty is the greater altar found to the east of the main nave, which symbolizes the Resurrection of the Lord with symbols of light and justice.
Copper Canyon Mexico
