Is there any person who does not love cruises or has never dreamed of having one? If you still haven’t done one, then we would recommend trading even your last penny to know what it means and to experience those unique emotions.
Lisbon is one of the few cities along with French Paris and Danish Copenhagen that grant this wonderful opportunity. A cruise on Lisbon’s pride – Tagus River – is an activity for everyone – young and old, people traveling alone or with their families and by all means for people traveling with their loved one.
We have already talked about Tagus River cruise which was available during daytime – from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm. But what if you want to have other-worldly feelings watching the sunset? We are glad to inform you that the Portuguese capital will grant you a chance to enjoy brilliant sunset views as well.
Unlike the daytime cruise which lasts over four hours, this one will last around 2 hours. But during those two hours you will not miss a single site any important historical site which is visible from the river. Two sites you will absolutely love are the impressive Belem Tower and Lisbon’s carved pearl Jeronimos Monastery.
Note that the river cruise does not include food and drinks but it does include a glass of champagne and soft drinks served free of charge. If you are “sailing” with your sweetheart, then a glass of champagne with the moon reflecting in the river would be best for both of you.
The sunset cruise starts at 7pm from under the 25th of April Bridge. Check out the time in advance as the time might change. It is mainly accounted by the season and the times when the sun sets. In general, the sunset starts from 7 pm to 9 pm from May to September and from 5 pm to 7 pm from October to April.
Notable the daytime cruise is more expensive than this one. Perhaps it’s due to the cruise length as there is a difference of around two hours. The “sunset cruise” comes at EUR 25 and is absolutely worth it!
Have fun and don’t forget to take pictures and lots of them.
